Udayaditya Kashyap is a documentary & travel photographer cum conceptual artist living in Bangalore, India. These are few words about a cocktail of an artist, a painter, a pianist, a documentary and travel photographer. Born and brought up in Assam, North East India, Uday’s upbringing was in a decent and respected family. Painting has been the earliest display of his artistic mind since childhood; an inheritance derived directly from his late father. The awards themselves speak his expertise in the field during school and college days. In the later years he gained interest in Martial Arts, playing music with Tabla and Drums. The state of Assam, a cradle of beholding beauty and wild, presented before him the necessary essence to nurture his artistic mind. As a consequence, this exposed him to traveling and adventure.
Uday began traveling at an early age. It was in 1998, the catalytic moment for him when he got his first camera, Yashica F60, from his beloved uncle. It inspired him to improve his skill in landscape and documentary photography. Ever since then “Travel. Paint . Click" has been the motto of his life. He travels extensively and never fails to enjoy his passions and adventure. To date, he has backpacked to twelve countries and planned to visit 2 or 3 countries a year.
Live Life with Passion
After graduation he moved to Bangalore for higher studies and is currently working in an IT firm. Bangalore gave him the exposure to photography and art. He attended workshops, trainings and meet ups on visual arts. In US, he attended more professional sessions like conceptual art, fashion and advertising photography. All his artistic concepts results into a state-of-the-art studio and he started working professionally. His studio served as a platform of various dimensions of professional photography. He received many accolades, awards and honorary mentions especially from international platforms.
